We could talk all day about the pods, the hot tubs and the peace and quiet. Our guests say it better. Every review here was written on Google by someone who stayed, and is shown word for word.

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful and peaceful setting.

The cabins were fully equipped, everything carefully thought through and considered. The hot tubs were amazing, especially watching the milky way and satellites pass overhead whilst floating in the lovely warm water.

We will definitely be returning soon.

If we’d not have had a chance meeting and a wonderful introduction with the owner on our way into the retreat then we wouldn’t have seen anyone from Dilham Hall during our exceptional 3 night stay. And that is just how Luke & Louise want it to be and every small detail has been meticulously thought of. Total privacy, peace and quiet and the ultimate in relaxation are all high on the agenda with a stay at Dilham Hall Retreats - even to the point that there are robotic lawn mowers so no one disturbs you.

Staying in an adult only pod in the Broad Fen area of the retreat, we were treated to luxury accommodation with a comfy bed, powerful shower, more than enough kitchen appliances, sofa and a large TV - although I can’t comment on the quality of the TV as we didn’t even have the need to turn it on! Outside was a splendid wood fired hot tub, table & chairs, fire pit and gas BBQ all within the privacy of your own area of Broad Fen. Whilst the other 2 pods were occupied during our stay, you wouldn’t have know it such was the thoughtful way the pods have been laid out and screens put in place.

We did, however, see plenty of wildlife from the comfort of the pod patio area. Numerous hares, deer and pheasants were seen enjoying the sunshine just a few yards away from us whilst we listened to the birdsong coming from the many different birds in the trees.

There is also a fantastic canoe hire on the side of the privately owned canal with a 20% discount offered for guests staying on the retreat. Due to its private nature you’re not going to encounter any motorised vessels, just maybe passing another kayak or canoe. The waterway is full of hundreds, maybe thousands, of dragonfly and damselfly and we even saw a Kingfisher after its next meal. A perfect way to spend the afternoon before heading back to the hot tub and a glass of fizz for a bit more tranquility.

As well as the adult only Broad Fen, there is a family and dog friendly set of pods that line the canal.

This was our second stay at Dilham Hall and certainly won’t be last, looking forward to returning in the near future for another thoroughly relaxing break.

We had our third trip to Dilham Hall Retreats in July, this time we brought our friends with us. The pods are lovely and have everything you need for a comfortable weekend stay. My boys loved the hot tub as always and we enjoyed spending our Saturday out on the beautiful canal, paddleboarding & kayaking!

We had a lovely girls weekend here. Loved the hot tub, easy to fill and heat and big enough for the three of us. Cabin was well equipped and cosy. Great to have canoe rental on site and the location is wonderful, very peaceful and lots of nice walks around.

Amazing 2 night trip in the tonnage bridge pods. The pod itself was immaculate and had all the necessities you needed including an oven and induction hob. There was towels provided and lots of extra blankets which is handy if you want to sit outside when it’s cold.

The location is lovely. Good views of the opposing field and a lovely canal. We took our spaniel and he loved the open space and the 2 walking trails that are on site. Would recommend people who want to bring there dog to do so!

The hot tub was amazing and is easy to set up. There was a small pack of fire wood as well as matches and fire lighters. I would probably say 1 pack would last 2 evenings max and if you are staying longer may need to purchase some more. It takes around 35 minutes to fill up with hot and cold water and longer if your just using hot. There is also a large fire pit and a wooden table for the summer months which we didn’t use.

There is a lovely pub in the village and would reccomend anyone staying to head there for a drink or food. It’s around a 25 minute walk and a lot of it is in the road due to the location.

Overall I would reccomend Dilham hall retreats to anyone who wants a lovely, quiet and scenic trip away with lots of countryside to explore. The road are easily accessible to nearby towns and beaches meaning there’s lots to do.

We had such a great time. The pod was perfect, clean and all we needed. Hot tub was easy to use and the setting was gorgeous. Location easy to access other part of Norfolk too. Really recommend the canoe and kayak hire! Generally a perfect long weekend break

Absolutely fantastic get away, clean rooms, comfy beds and the best equipped glamping pods I’ve ever seen. Luke is super helpful and goes that extra mile to ensure your stay is luxury and comfortable. Canoe hire is also available which comes at a discounted rate if you’re staying. Not a bad word to be said.

Thank you Luke, Louise and the team for making our stay amazing

Me and my mum stayed at Dilham Hall Retreats with my 2 young boys. It was so idyllic! Perfect, quiet setting on the canal where we had plenty of open space. My boys loved the space to play around and explore and they especially loved the hot tub and being able to ‘light’ the wood so it made it a hands on experience. It’s a lovely location, with the broads 15 mins away and the coast also 15 mins.

The pod was so clean and had everything we needed to make it a comfortable and easy experience. All cooking appliances and utensils you’d need and clean linen and towels. We all slept like logs as it was lovely and warm and peaceful as it has heating too. We loved being able to sit by the fire outside at night and we cooked our hot dogs on it too before jumping in the hot tub under the stars.🌟 Just brilliant! Will definitely be returning and have already recommended it to friends. ☺️

Just got back from a couple of nights at Dilham Hall Retreats. We stayed at the Couples Glamping site in Swallowtail.

The pod itself provided all we needed and was spotless. Communication with the owners was excellent. There were some lovely walks available from the site. Highlight had to be the hot tub. It was a magical experience to be sitting in there watching the barn owl and bats flying around and listening to the Tawny owls calling to each other. We were also visited by a beautiful Reeves pheasant. It was an amazing place to say which I would highly recommend.

Stunning place! Stayed for 4 nights in Heron, the pod was so clean on arrival and kitted out with everything you need. The hot tub is great, love the fact you have to light a fire for it. Would defiantly return.
